Another routine day without any noteworthy events, except it is cold.

There was a brief, and occasionally furious snowstorm, but it didn’t stick. It’s been uncomfortably cold, even in the house. But work and school and play went mostly well.

The third grader would rather play with her iPad than use it for school. Tomorrow we might try Mac only for her. The little little seemed only to want attention as a meeting was starting. Conveniently, it seemed most of our meetings had alternating gaps.

i got the lock controller to work, which is annoying and tedious. I think it has problems reconnecting to the WiFi if the router restarts. Plus it doesn’t seem to like if your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same SSID, which mine do. So I turned on the ISP router WiFi, entered the lock controller’s MAC address into the allowed list, struggled to get my phone to connect (and learned it uses random MAC addresses...which makes it hard to map), but was eventually successful. Hopefully now it will behave, as that router only has 2.4GHz.

The dogs have been horrible to get back in the house each time they’ve gone out today. That’s a pain.

i guess there were little things.
