The kids have been mostly enjoying being home because of the impending storm. It is cold, and occasionally there are little flurries. But even counting the snowfall from yesterday, only a couple fluffy inches have fallen.
There was a thick dusting from yesterday morning's snow, and little fluffy flurries through the day. Today was devoid of any real snow until pretty much the end of the school day.
I sat at the edge of my bed, hoping to start the week off finally kicking this cold. A little congestion, but I always have some, especially in the mornings. As I looked out the window, watching the day get brighter, it started to snow, and then snow heavily.
The wife went to her mom's house to help her prepare her taxes. I stayed home with the kids and their friends.
I did some easy work today, the kids were back to normal, and the wife has always been fine.
The boy went back to school, but the girl stayed home, and I tried hard, but still couldn't work.
Almost everyone woke up feeling crummy. Some of us woke up with fevers, even.
