Day Seventy-One - Protests Break Out
Work and home life are pretty normal, but the city's getting tense.
It's the second day of protests after the death of George Floyd. Not directly related to the coronavirus, but certainly not helped by it either. And the impact of the protests might have some affect on the general states of mind.
What started as some peaceful protests have turned a little unruly. As I waited for the kiddos to fall asleep, much fuss was appearing on the internet, with streams of videos of mobs gathering in the streets, setting off fireworks, blocking traffic, and people looting Target stores. I mistook the reported store for one closer to my home, and then the sounds and media blitz made me think I was hearing worse noises than I was.
Hopefully all stays sane.
Everyone's healthy.
