Day Eighty-Two - Missing Some Days?
Another Monday. Work and the rest.
But I think my count is off. Checking, it's been 84 days since 16 March, which was our last office day before the work-from-home social distancing started. Even starting with"one" the next day, that's eighty-three. Off by one... Gets us every time.
I know there have been a few days where I tap on out the previous day, too. Sometimes more than one. I guess, really, being off by only one is pretty good.
Today's news includes the social media blitz that the Minneapolis Police are being either disbanded or defined. Neither is true. Talks about either have happened. There's no way we could exist without police, for sure. There's also no reason we should continue with police the way they are, in some cases. I think reimagining police, and funding differently to ensure training and services match the right needs, is probably overdue.
Especially as I see there are still protests and violence going on. Not a great time to disband the police force.
I'm going to look again to see about living on a small island, and figure out how to become a billionaire to play for it...
Oh, and is super hot, breaking 90F today. Yikes!
Everyone's healthy.
