Day 607 - Mild Flurries
A devastating snow storm was predicted, with accumulation of inches overnight. It might have happened in other parts of the state, but we've barely got noticeable dusting on the ground and surfaces to prove it snowed at all. I expect it to be gone by midday, if the snow doesn't pick up.
We're preparing to run out the door to head toward a Girls on the Run event, where the big little is going to run a 5K with kids from school, and whoever else shows up. Seems it's a big deal, although I hadn't heard of it before she started running with the squad after school. Today's the big race. It's a cold morning to do this, a degree or two above freezing at the moment, with a threat of snow throughout the day. I hope that adds to the run, letting runners heat against the cold, instead of adding to the grumbling, as running in the cold can be brutal.
What? I used to run, too.
I'm also working on fixing this blog software, so while it technically runs (in the wrong container host), I thought I'd hammer out a little "what's up" to test. Seems to be working 'though the pictures aren't mounted, and I don't like the way I'm embedding values in the build instead of the container, but that'll be in the other posts.
We gotta run.
See what I did there?
Everyone's healthy.
