Day 653 - Last Day of Work (2021)
Tomorrow's a holiday, and the last day of the year, so when I return to work on Monday, it'll be a new calendar, too.
Nothing exciting is going on or coming up. I just thought I'd keep with the trend of making notes most days. Even lame ones like this.
It's cold outside. Every now and again it snows. Kids are home, and I'm in here typing this to avoid them. I would really like to live someplace warmer and with fewer neighbors.
Nothing against my neighbors, to be sure. But it'd be nice to be farther apart. We're about a dozen feet from our neighbor's houses on either side. It'd be swell if that was measured in a bigger unit, like yards, acres, or miles.
And warmer should be clear. It's about 20°F today, which is much warmer than the 9°F yesterday. Not that you can really tell with the wind. I'd like to be where that's unrealistic. Where a dip into the 50s is time to grab a light jacket.
Everyone's healthy.
