The older kids and grand kids visited for most of today!

With the weather and pandemic and divorced families, we don't always get together for the holidays on the holidays. So we got together as a family today.

It was a bit of a combined "all winter holiday" gathering. Food, some gifts, lots of stories, plenty of hugs and play. Just good to be around the family more than we can usually be. Both because of the pandemic, but also every household has adult lives going on, and we're not good at coordinating the gatherings. Distance gets in there, the different schedules for schools, and myriad excuses happen.
