The wife went to her mom's house to help her prepare her taxes. I stayed home with the kids and their friends.

The wife took off early, before breakfast, to get a jump on travel and taxes, and just time with her mom.

The girl child had a friend stay overnight last night, so she was around through breakfast. Nice kid, we like her, she's always welcome.

The boy child wanted someone to come over to play, so we invited his pal, who came over for the bulk of the afternoon. Showed up after lunch, tablet in hand. The boys moved between rooms every once in a while, just for different seating, I think. They did break from tablets when the guest's tablet ran out of juice, so we plugged it in and all was faces-on-glass again. He left just before dinner, as his house was expecting guests, too.

The wife got home in time to help wrestle the boy into bed.

I think I dozed away about six hours of the day between kids needing something, or the various comings and goings. Not sick, but not quite well, either.

Everyone's healthy, mostly.
