Day Ninety-Five - Juneteenth
The company decided to make Juneteenth a company holiday. They did this on Monday, announced it on Tuesday. Celebrated (or recognized) on Friday, today.
The week was a little jammed with work, since they shortened it by a day. Much rushing around, and a few things rearranged. Nothing more unusual than other weeks, but seemed so busy.
Today we took off, though. Dogs had camp this morning, so the wife and boy child dropped them and then spent some time at the park after.
For lunch we took a break from home and had a little outside adventure at Clays Galaxy Drive In. It's been closed for the last five years, opening again just this week. We liked it as an option because it's a classic drive-in, which we've done a couple times, and they've got picnic tables, which are fairly well spread out. The kids had a blast, but felt a little reigned-in as we wouldn't let them have freedom around the whole area, as we might have earlier.
The whole week has been just fine.
Everyone's healthy.
