I'm older and fat, and that worked out in my favor today, in that my doctor suggested I take advantage of the COVID-19 vaccination booster that has recently been suggested.

I'm hoping to keep getting older, but have long wanted to be less fat. Still, I am a good 30% extra body. Healthy underneath, it seems, pushing a couple limits, but my shirt and pants and other things clearly show the extra bulk I carry. Usually this results in a "should have less bulk" discussion, but this time it was "yeah, you could get the booster."

Appointments were made, the wife did hers before, I did mine today. Also got a flu shot in the other shoulder. In and out with no fuss or muss. The nice nurse who gave me my shots even politely laughed at my jokes.

We continue to get our weekly tests, 'cause the kids are in school, and that's what was read some where. So far, no COVID here.
