The kiddo was tested again to satisfy the school timing from her close contact. She passed, finding no COVID, and has no symptoms, so she can return after Wednesday!

She's been a good sport, but has actually been missing school and friends. She's been good engaging with her remote studies, but has hit us up (mom more than dad) for help and motivation. When she came to me, it was "I'm bored" followed by suggestions that television or candy would be the best solution, and admissions that there were school things to do, and that she understood them, but didn't want to do them alone in her room any more. I offered to help clear some space in the office, but she lamented that I talk too much to share the room. She isn't wrong.

After we got news of the test results, she was glad and looking forward to returning "to normal," and only a little sad it meant one more day home and not returning tomorrow.

Everyone is healthy.
