Kiddos woke up so excited to return to their day-long program of fun that I almost felt insulted after forcing them to hang out with us for the whole weekend.

To be fair, we aren't as fun as friends. I know it. We're still mostly isolating because of the pandemic, with a small circle of friends we'll gather with on weekends, when it works out. It doesn't seem to work out as much as the kids would like.

But they had a blast. They brought a few bouncy castles to the gym. The kids were ecstatic when I collected them at the end of the day. Their excitement seemed well deserved, and they're already ready to go back tomorrow.

They're starting to get a little cranky, though, so off to bed soon!
