Novel Coronavirus 2020

It's a veritable heatwave! Temps have leapt from the Fahrenheit teens to the mid-thirties. Sidewalks are clear, drips are falling (and some icicles are forming) from the snow melting on the roof. more »

For the last few weeks, a few times a day, the thermostat reports the same "13-limit lockout" error. We just had some maintenance done, pointed this out, and had been told it should be sorted. more »

We celebrated Christmas with the wife's parents today, at her mom's house, a short 25-mile journey away, that took all day to get there and back. more »

All the kids, and the kids of the kids with kids, gathered at our house for a little early Santa gathering. It was great to see everyone and hang out for much of the day, and as with all family gatherings, some slices of disappointment. more »

We aren't religious people, despite arguably religious homes as children, but we do celebrate the decorations, food, gifts, and Santa parts of Christmas. more »
