The weather is undulating a little. Today was a beautiful June day, in the beginning of May.

The kids let the adults sleep in a bit. They tended to the dogs, and snacked on fruit. We slept in until after 8AM! Then we rewarded them with donuts.

i happened to also see a history of donuts story in my news feed, which I peeked at and enjoyed the first half of. I didn’t get through the second half. But since then, my feed and adverts have been flooded with donuts. Better than some of the other stuff I look up or read about.

The wife did some yard work. I did some laundry and tried to do some computing. We took the kids and dogs for a run-around at the park. They like to run around in the tennis court, which is bigger than our yard. There aren’t any off-leash parks in our area any more. Not sure what it’d be like with the current rules, anyway.

The missus made some ribs for dinner, which we ate out on the deck. The weather was fantastic, and not yet bothersome with the bugs, although both kids freaked out when a housefly decided to visit.

After, we followed up with the next in our series, the Solo Star Wars Story. It was not a great viewing as the 4yo was a little too energetic. Also, the 9yo likes to guess what’s next, and vocalize throughout, usually trying to understand the story, but also stomping on helpful dialogue. We might do better with the next set, which the adults have seen.
