Happy Mother's Day!

We started out with plates full of waffles, and a little oven-baked bacon. Mom was given some pictures from the littles, and a simple necklace with all of the kids' names on it. She's not a big jewelry wearer, but liked its simplicity and sentiment, and pledged to wear it.

We puttered around for a bit, and had a little baseball. The visitors came to the game, and caused a bit of distraction for the team as they sat on the baseline with their dogs, one of whom woofs a little too often at nothing. We went for a little bit of a long, late lunch at the Galaxy Drive In nearby, and everyone returned to their homes.

We went to another park, where the kids played off some more energy before returning to start baths and bedtime routines.
