We went to the Vikings game tonight. It was not awesome.

An odd late game, we left in the bright of midday and made our way to the stadium where the game started just as the sun started setting. Maybe not quite that bad, but it seemed like it.

The Vikings hosted the Dallas Cowboys, The Vikings won the coin toss and elected to receive. They turned over the ball deep in their own territory, but managed to hold the Cowboys to a field goal.

So, it'll be that kind of game, we thought.

The Vikings did better on their next reception, but settled for a game-tying field goal also. Then the Vikings stopped scoring. The Cowboys scored a couple times each quarter, until the end, when they capped their 37-3 lead with a final field goal.

We rarely leave early. We were in the late group of early leavers, but left early. The game ended by the time we made it to the train, so not that early.

The kids did well with their sitter, the first in a long time. We finished watching Coco before I drove them home and settled in for the night.

Everyone is healthy.
