Dentist in the AM, B-ball in the PM
No, not baseball, the other b-ball.
Had to return to the dentist for a touch-up on a couple of old fillings. I'm sure he was trying to make me feel better, but the new dentist said there was a little decay around the edges of an old filling. He also noticed the scratch my last dentist put on one tooth, and commented on the chip on my front tooth.
About 17 years ago I dinged my bottom center-right tooth against my upper center-left tooth, chipping the upper tooth, and loosening the lower tooth to the point where it damaged the jawbone and resulted in a bridge across the four bottom front teeth. The chip has been capped four or five or six times since then, and always the cap falls off; I guess "cap" is not quit the right term as it wasn't truly a tooth cap, but just a little "dental bondo" added to mask the chip.
Instead of trying again, he smoothed the tooth, blending the long and short parts better. Now it strikes me that it looks like the tooth is crooked. We'll see how I get used to it.
Mostly painless, just a little high-pitched grinding. In and out.
The wife won tickets at work for the Timberwolves game. Sitting in the suite, chatting with her work pals, watching a little basketball. I can't say I'm a fan of the game, although I did end up watching it. I barely knew anyone there, and thankfully everyone was eyes on the ball.
