Out of sight
I've been neglecting the blog.
Sure, I've said it before, and anyone who writes for no apparent reason says it. We all let the writing slip away. We promise to return to our good writing ways and constant schedule.
We all suck from time to time.
I've been busy switching jobs, not doing enough with my summer, working too much, and sitting in front of the tube. Not much has changed that hasn't been going on before.
Sure, the job switching thing, but I'm a consultant, and I switch jobs two or three times a year, sometimes more, sometimes less, usually a few times, though. For many people that's an enormous stress point, but for me, it's business as usual.
The yard looks OK. It's no worse for wear. A little crab grass and a couple of unwanted weeds. It was too hot to mow, so I let it go for a little longer than I should have, so it got really shaggy. You don't care about my lawn, though.
I've got things to say, but I always feel I need to categorize them. Essays aren't my bag; I'm a little more terse. I'll ponder and return, now that I've found my own URL again...
