An interesting headline caught my eye today: Saudi Arabia captures Israeli 'spy vulture' which tells of a vulture arrested for having a GPS transmitter on its leg with a tag from a Tel Aviv university. Surely the university was tracking the movements of the bird, but I'm not sure how this could be used as a spy, unless a number of birds avoided or disappeared in the same area that would otherwise not have those things happen.

Noted in that article was a similar headline: Shark 'sent to Egypt by Mossad' which blames a number of shark attacks on sharks planted by Mossad. As far as I can tell, the shark is still in the wild, presumably spying.

We all know that the only way to go is to use guinea pigs. Whoops! I hope I didn't give away any spy secrets.
