MN Twins 20 Games From Elimination
With the recent loss streak for the Twins and win streak for the Tigers, the Twins have worked themselves into a pickle. Just for the 2011 MLB season, of course. They'll be back next year.
There are 34 games left in the Twins schedule. They're 15 games behind. This simply means they need 15 more wins than the current division-leading Tigers. The Tigers are well ahead, even of the tied-for-second White Sox and Indians, who are 6.5 games behind.
In the next month of games, if the Twins loose or the Tigers win 20 games, the Twins don't stand a chance.
The Twins have made tight comebacks before, but not from this far back this late in the season. It's time for unprecedented rallying!
