No, not a typo. I did some simple updates to the servers and some of their software, and in checking the log aggregator, I was surprised to see no metrics since New Year's Eve.

I started with a moment of "is this thing on?" I poked at logs and saw that not only were the services on, but they were actively logging. I checked the clock, and sure enough, the last entry was seconds before. Then I remembered the year changed.

A quick jaunt through the aggregator settings, to add the folder for the new year, and viola! Logs aggregated and charts filling.

Still only a few hits every few minutes, but logs.
