Heavy Metal
I woke in the middle of last night and hobbled downstairs so I wouldn't disturb anyone with my snortling or sneezing. After a bit I realized I wouldn't be returning immediately, so I snapped on the television for a bit.
The movie Heavy Metal was on, part way through. It took me back to my days in high school when we huddled in my buddy's basement and watched it on his family's VCR. I think he was the only one with a VCR...
I had forgotten the basic plot (tie a bunch of destructive cartoons together because of the masterful taunting of the deadly green orb), and who did voices; John Candy, Eugene Levy, and Harold Ramis stick out.
I enjoyed the flick for it's trip down memory lane more than the film itself. Made me want to dig into making movies some...I'm sure I could do that, eh?
