The Tuxedo (2002)
A little action and adventure, this Jackie Chan movie survives, despite the occasionally inexplicable pissy attitude of Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Jackie plays Jimmy Tong. Yes, "Tong, James Tong." He's a cab driver who we learn from one quick glance at a newspaper clipping has a reputation for being fast. A one-car car chase through the crowded streets convince the fare who brings this up, and he's hired to be the personal driver for a rich guy.
Of course, chaos ensues, in normal Jackie Chan style. The movie was typical Jackie Chan, and as such gets the blanket thumbs up from me. Plenty of comic interludes, but nothing like Rush Hour. A good film to fill an afternoon.
Heck, it's a Jackie Chan movie...what kind of spoilers do you expect?
