You know the premise: Cuba Gooding, Jr. plays the lead, James Kennedy, a mentally challenged young man who through the malicious mischief of a high school football team catches the interest of the coach, Ed Harris.

Based, I guess, on a true story of a perpetual 11th grader and assistant coach, Radio, nicknamed for his affinity with radios, becomes a fixture at the high school, motivating the athletes and presumably other students, as well as reading the day's menu each morning.
