The gripping cold of this morning has burned off, and the pleasant warmth of an afternoon cruise made me consider taking the long way home.

I didn't because the girl child is home from school. Since I got in earlier than my normal 9:30 this morning, I took off a little earlier than my normal 5:30, in hopes to find she'd been good all day, or bust her if she's being bad. Thankfully, she's good.

The wife beat me home, and we'll soon set out for some grub.
