It's hardly winter, but I'm already feeling the dreary effects of the terrain sinking in.

OK, it's not as bad as it sounds. It just happens that all of the leaves are gone, so none of the trees are green, all of the snow has that heave of ground dirt on it, so it's grey and nasty instead of pristine white. It's overcast and rainy, so there's no sunshine or delightful blue, and the temperature is not really cold, but not warm either.

Just blah.

A good day to sit on the sofa and soak in all of the things that have been Tivo'd.
