Saving Grace (2000)
Netflix suggested that I might enjoy this quirky tale of humorous situational crime. I did.
A prim and proper widowed housewife discovers that she's broke, despite the sprawling estate and prestigious lifestyle she and her late husband had. In short order, she conspires with her gardener (Craig Fergusun) to start growing massive amounts of weed in her greenhouse.
Not a laugh-riot, as might be expected given the possibilities of the criminal mastermind gardener, but well done nonetheless. The situations seem reasonably possible, the scenery is pleasant to look at, the supporting characters are quirky, and wit and banter is quite amusing. A good slow-paced watch.
