Vikings Lose to Lions
Once again, the Vikings start strong, but fall short. They stumped the Lions, holding them scoreless while putting twenty points on the board. The Lions put twenty on in the board holding the Vikings scoreless in the second half.
The Vikings tried being sneaky with laterals as time ran out, but not only illegally pitched forward, but also fumbled before the end of regulation. I guess it's a small victory that the Vikings didn't lose in the second half. I mean, they kind of did by giving up a 20-point lead, but they forced the game to go into overtime in order to lose.
If there's a silver-lining in all of this, the Vikings have a clear problem to fix. That is, they don't play well in the second half. Easy.
They've out-scored their opponents 7-54 in the first half, which is awesome. But have been outscored 61-6 in the second half. That's horrendous.
The Lions are now 3-0, in first place, and the Vikings are 0-3, alone in last.
The 2-0 Packers are playing at the 1-1 Bears later. Maybe right now, I think.
The division will have a two-way tie for first if the Packers win, or a tw0 way-tie for second if the Bears win.
