Glassfish and Apache mod_jk
For whatever nerdy and geeky reasons I've wanted to use Glassfish to host some of my Java web apps and services and such, but it didn't play nice with Apache's mod_jk connector, instead requiring mod_proxy which doesn't do quite the same job. Today Oracle released Java EE 7 and it piqued my interest in maybe giving it another try.
A quick Google search led me to this blog post that notes that a recent (year ago) release of Glassfish supported the Apache Tomcat Connector, and outlined how to get it done.
Maybe, when I get a little hobby time, I'll throw one up on my (this) server and see if I can get my apps working on it, fronted by Apache.
