Quantum Fiber Cancelled
I haven't been using this Internet connection for more than six months, and finally got around to cancelling the service.
I previously suspended the service, which resulted in no fees, shortly after I reconfigured my servers to use my new GB service. Yesterday I received a notice that my suspended service was being resumed, which prompted me to call and cancel.
They were really nice about it, apologizing for the lack of promised static IP and IPv6 support, but also sharing that they knew of no plans to offer them, even for business users. After a few minutes of key clacking, he pledged to try to get my unused time refunded (which would be the whole thing, since today is the first day of renewed service), and e-mailed me a link to generate a packing slip to ship the stuff back. They didn't leave any boxes, so I recycled an Amazon package and air bladders. The UPS peeps took it from me and gave me a receipt.
I still need to do the same for the DSL.
