No Sun
I'm starting to believe I'm solar powered.
Sometime before Christmas 2005 was the last sunny day. Since then we've been covered with clouds all day long. Three weeks, give or take, is enough to drain anyone's batteries.
I started notice a few days ago that it was getting difficult to be friendly to people. Everyone's engaging other people with a heavy sigh, as though we're all feeling the impact.
What's weird about this is that at this time of the year few of us see the sun anyway; sunrise is often after we've arrived at work, and sunset is still before we leave.
It's still bright outside, as the clouds allow light through, but it's not the kind of bright that makes one think of covering up, or even squinting.
I'm going to blame this lack of enthusiasm for my lack of blogging of late, and the lack of progress on my new system, as previously reported.
