Only 15 or so years after remodeling our house, we're replacing our garage. Today, they tore it down.

We've spent the last couple weeks removing stuff from the garage in preparation. Our house is filled with the things that used to be in the garage, save the stuff that is still outside, that can stand the weather or risk of theft and damage.

A nice guy, Kim, showed up with a tractor and knocked it down in a few hours. Another guy showed up with a dump truck and hauled it all away after Kim lifted the debris with his tractor. Kim took to the cement floor of the garage and had that done in the next hour, and the dump truck took that away, too.

Now we've got a big sandy spot where the garage used to stand. I've got to fence off the opening so the dogs don't run down the alley.
