Apologies to any visitor who has been seeing the onslaught of Google Ads in the blog.

I'll look into making it better, but after seeing the site on a browser that doesn't have an ad blocker, I gotta take a moment to apologize for the bevy of ads injected into this site.

I thought there was only a single banner ad on the sidebar of the site. On the main page of the site, https://jekewa.com/ there are bigger blocks at the top and bottom, which I also groan about. These were added after a recent (greedy?) change in Google Ad services. Previously there was just the little footer ad on the rest of the site and the sidebar on the blog.

It seems, though, that the Google Ad script will add a bunch of ads in the middle of the content on the site.

I don't like that on other sites, either. An ad, I figure, is a fine thing to have. I get a trickle of pennies for the impressions, and a little bit more in some cases if the ad leads to revenue-generating activity. I don't bank on it, or really need it; it's always been a thing to do so I can know how it works and implement it for others if needed.
