Each of the contemporary servers in the farm have had some recent upgrades, usually due to age-related failures. In my mind, some of them need a little more.

Some, like my wife, may wonder why I have two Internet connections. It's really because I have a set-up for some servers, like the one serving this blog, and have tried to update it to faster service, but the faster service doesn't offer the bits needed for serving from the servers.

Not a big income driver for me, but a bit of knowledge and trickle of pennies, I've got some Google Ads on my various pages. They've been warning for a while that changes are afoot and that those of us who do this need to make changes. I didn't change, so now my ads are all broken.

For both protecting my systems and playing with what's out there, I incorporate Crowdsec into my system's intrusion detection and prevention. For other reasons, I updated one of my servers to the latest Ubuntu (not LTS), and an update to Crowdsec balked.

I had hopes of tapping on this a little more, but holiday and other distractions got in the way. I've got a few things to remember or share, so I'll add them now and soon. It might be the case they'll come out of order, but that's the fun of controlling time, right?
