Probably the only game I really take the time out to play anymore, Savage, has announced a new version.

Improved graphics and additional features abound. I'm not really all that keen on some of the role-playing bits that we're speculating about, but the renewed interest by previous players might be enough to kick-start the game back into my weekly routine.

We've played the game for probably three years. It's been as much of a motivator for improving my workstations as general development demands. It's certainly in large part responsible for the failed 6600GT (have the RMA...now I just need to truck it to FedEx).

Other games on the horizon that have piqued my interest are the new Black and White and Age of Empires III.
