Cold Weather Upon Us
I thought it was cold last night; two degrees above zero and neither of them were warm.
This morning as I crawl into the truck I was thinking "shucks, it's cold." Well, not really, but pretty close. I sat in the truck for a few minutes listening to it groan into working order. I took a moment to scrape the frost crystals from the windshield, and took off.
I then noticed the dashboard thermometer read -5F degrees. Brr.
As I drove to work and the sun started to rise, the temp dropped another degree, but shortly returned to -5F.
February is typically the coldest month of the winter with its ten to fifteen degree drop from the otherwise coldest point. If this is what early winter is like, January is going to be brutal, and February may end up fatal.
